What it is

The Wisconsin Child Psychiatry Consultation Program increases the capacity of primary care providers to support the mental health needs of Wisconsin children and families. It's a free resource offering mental health education, consultative support, and resource coordination to enrolled pediatric primary care providers, and it does not provide direct patient care.

How it works

Enrolled providers get provider-to-provider consultation with child psychiatrists and a pediatric psychologist. The Medical College of Wisconsin established the program in 2015 and developed it with support from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
