Who owns what on shrinkiatry, what you can do with it, and how to report a problem.

The content, design, and branding of shrinkiatry are copyright shrinkMD Publishing, LLC, unless otherwise noted, and the shrinkiatry name, logo, and marks belong to the publisher. We want the work to be read and cited widely, so this page spells out what you can do freely and what needs a quick email first.

What you can do

You're welcome to read shrinkiatry, link to any page, and quote short passages with attribution and a link back to the source page. Teachers, students, journalists, and clinicians can use limited excerpts within normal fair-use limits without asking. Sharing a page with a colleague, a patient, or a friend is exactly what it's for.

What needs permission

Republishing whole articles or substantial portions, presenting our content as your own, mirroring pages, or using shrinkiatry content commercially requires written permission. So does using the shrinkiatry name, logo, or branding in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation. We're generally happy to say yes to reasonable requests, so just ask.

Automated collection and AI training

We welcome search engines and AI assistants reading and citing shrinkiatry, and we publish structured data and an llms.txt file to make that easier, on the understanding that they attribute claims to the source. Using shrinkiatry content to train commercial AI models, or scraping the site at scale to repackage it, isn't permitted without written permission. Ordinary indexing and citation with attribution is fine; wholesale copying to build a competing product is not.

Trademarks and third-party material

Product names, logos, and marks that belong to others and appear on the site are the property of their respective owners, and their use here is for identification and commentary only. Where we use licensed or third-party material, it's used with permission or under license, and it remains the property of its owner.

Reporting infringement or a takedown request

If you believe content on shrinkiatry infringes your copyright, email support@shrinkiatry.com with enough detail to act on: identification of the work you say is infringed, the specific URL on shrinkiatry where it appears, your contact information, and a statement of your good-faith belief that the use isn't authorized. We take valid claims seriously and will review and respond, including removing or correcting material where a claim holds up. If you believe your own work was wrongly removed, you can write to the same address to explain.

Permission requests

For permission to republish, translate, or otherwise reuse shrinkiatry content beyond what's described above, email support@shrinkiatry.com with what you'd like to use and how, and we'll get back to you.
