Submissions and corrections

Submit or correct a program

Tell us about a psychiatry residency program that should be in the guide, or correct something in an existing listing. We verify every entry against official sources before it publishes.

How submissions work

Anyone can submit a program, a program can submit itself, and anyone can flag a correction. A few things are worth saying plainly, because they're what keep the guide trustworthy:

  • Submission does not guarantee inclusion. We verify each entry against official sources and apply editorial judgment against the published inclusion criteria.
  • There is never any charge, for inclusion or for position. Nothing about a listing can be bought, and advertising or referral relationships never affect it.
  • We verify before we publish. Structured facts are checked against the ACGME data system, FREIDA, the NRMP, and the program’s official website, and dated.

What helps us verify faster

If you have them, include the official program name, the sponsoring institution, the city and state, the program's official website, and, for a correction, the specific field that's wrong and the correct value with a source. You don't need all of it, but more detail means faster verification.

This form is set up to connect to a form handler (such as Formspree, Cloudflare, or another service). Until it's connected, please email support@shrinkiatry.com directly.

Educational and professional commentary only. shrinkiatry explains the profession of psychiatry. It doesn't provide medical advice, isn't a substitute for evaluation or treatment by a licensed clinician, and reading it doesn't create a doctor-patient relationship.
